MALTA — Kishwaukee College professors will facilitate the final forum in The Dialogues series for the semester.  “Who’s on First?”: Analyzing the Candidate Pool for the 2020 Election will be held Wednesday, April 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in Jenkins Auditorium, room A1224 on campus. The event is free and open to the public.
The Dialogues series allows for members of the community to join Kishwaukee College faculty, staff and students in thoughtful, civil discourse on topics relevant to the current events and issues facing the United States and its role in the world. Assistant Professor of Sociology, Pernevlon Ellis and Assistant Professor of History, Jennifer Jossendal will facilitate the discussion.
“Who’s on First?”: Analyzing the Candidate Pool for the 2020 Election will be an interactive discussion that explores the currently announced and potential candidates vying for the U.S. Presidency in the 2020 election. As of April 8, 670 candidates have filed with the Federal Election Commission to run for president. The total includes 226 Democratic candidates, 84 Republican candidates, 24 Libertarian candidates, and 14 Green candidates. The forum will discuss some of the top contenders.
