Due to warmer temperatures and melting snow, the Street Department will provide one final leaf collection run through town. All leaves must be placed in the parkway up to the edge of the curb by 7 a.m. Monday morning, Dec. 17.

 The following rules shall be followed:

1. Please rake all leaves into the City parkway up to the edge of curb, or edge of the road if you do not have a curb. To ensure all leaves are collected, leaves must not exceed five feet beyond the edge of curb.
2. Please do not place leaves on the street as they will clog storm water inlets and could potentially cause flooding.
3. Please do not place leaves behind obstacles such as trees, poles, hedges, etc.
4. Please do not park vehicles within 30 feet of a leaf pile or row. 
5. Please do not mix trash, limbs, weeds, grass or any other material with the leaves. Yard waste or other materials mixed with leaves can cause safety concerns and equipment malfunction. For these reasons, these piles will not be accepted.
