The Floral Design Program at Kishwaukee College received a donation from Fitz Design, a company that provides floral design accessories to floral wholesalers, headquartered in Florida. The donation includes hundreds of jewelry bases, garlands, beading, wiring, and other items used to create floral arrangements and flowers-to-wear for any occasion. Janet Gallagher, Floral Design instructor, said, “This donation will give the students so many options for creating arrangements and other designs. We are very grateful to Fitz for their generosity!” Standing with a portion of the Fitz donation are Floral Design students, L to R: Megan Johnston, Shabbona; Kassie Rosecke, Byron; Christine, Mt. Morris; Tricia Vandermeer, Sandwich; Kira Bensinger, Genoa, and Dustin Castillo, Malta.
