ROCHELLE – The Foundation for Focus House Board of Directors welcomes Joe Shaw to the Focus House team as a residential supervisor.
Shaw graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2003. He began his career as a Residential Treatment Specialist at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois in Nachusa in 2004 then went to Focus House in 2005 as an Adolescent Treatment Specialist. He transitioned to Ogle County Court Services as an Adult Probation Officer in 2007 where he has been for the last 11 years.
“I am excited to be rejoining Focus House after spending the last eleven years in probation,” Shaw said. “The recent restructuring piqued my interest as an opportunity to do some great things for a program that helped me get to where I am today. I have great confidence in the director and staff at Focus House and am certain the program will continue to meet the needs of adolescents in Ogle County and beyond. I look forward to once again being a part of the Focus House team in enhancing our image throughout the judicial system and the community.”
