Rochelle moves to 3-0 after 28-6 win on Friday

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Hub fresh-soph football team remained perfect on the season Friday evening, defeating Johnsburg 28-6. Sophomore Brenden Voight rushed for an 8-yard touchdown and totaled two tackles for loss, while sophomore Reece Harris rushed for a 6-yard touchdown in the win.

Freshman Tyler Gensler added five tackles and a 76-yard run for Rochelle (3-0, 1-0 I-8/KRC Blue). Sophomore Frank Nasca compiled six tackles and sophomore Keagan Albers rushed for a 1-yard touchdown after a 40-yard pass play from sophomore quarterback Van Gerber to sophomore Martiese Pogue.
