Manning, Argueta rush for scores in 28-14 loss Monday

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Hub JV football team hosted Woodstock for an Interstate 8/Kishwaukee River Conference crossover battle on Monday evening. Freshman Dylan Manning rushed for a 25-yard touchdown and freshman Angel Argueta added a 8-yard touchdown run as the Blue Streaks defeated the Hubs 28-14. 

Additional highlights from the JV contest include a 2-point conversion rush from freshman Angel Hernandez and a 60-yard connection from sophomore quarterback Mark Green to junior wide receiver Jack Tilton. Sophomore Riley Vondergathen finished with five tackles and freshman Tyler Gensler added four tackles for the Hubs in the loss.
