ROCHELLE — Foundation for Focus House Executive Director Jeni Hardin remarked that this year’s pool of FFH scholarship essays were so good, she is excited to award another scholarship.

Congratulations to Kailey Harris from Rochelle Township High School. Kailey will next attend Kishwaukee College to obtain an associate’s degree in computer science as a member of the Kishwaukee Kougars women’s soccer team.

The daughter of James and Cynthia Harris has plans to continue to a four-year university to work towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

“Kailey has given back many hours to her peers and community,” Hardin said. “She was the editor in chief and business manager for the high school yearbook, vice president of the National Honor Society, and team captain/trainer for the RTHS Lady Hubs soccer team. She is also active in her church and volunteers to help local community members who need a hand with house and yard work.”
