Foundation’s grant season open

Rochelle  – The Rochelle Area Community Foundation is excited to announce the opening of the 2021 Community grants season.
Qualified nonprofit organizations now have the opportunity to apply for funding for projects and programs that enhance the quality of life in the community, serve to support individuals and families and for funding to supplement the budgets of organizations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2020, the foundation redirected Community Grant Funds to meet immediate and emergency needs due to the COVID-19 pandemic while community grant applications were put on hold.

This year the foundation plans to invest an estimated $100,000 into the community for multi-purpose grants to support a variety of projects, programs and organizations. This is only possible due to charitable contributions entrusted to the foundation by generous donors as permanent gifts that go on giving year after year.
The 2021 Community Grant application and information can be accessed through the foundation’s website at www.rochellefoundation.org under the grants tab. For questions or more information, contact executive director Kim Montgomery at 815-561-3600, or by email to: kim@rochellefoundation.org.
To make a charitable contribution to the Rochelle Area Community Foundation, visit the website or mail a check to P.O. Box 74, Rochelle, IL 61068.
The Rochelle Area Community is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve community through charitable giving, encourage a spirit of philanthropy, and enhance the quality of life of the community.
