ROCHELLE — The Lady Hubs freshman softball team hosted the Sycamore Lady Spartans and the LaSalle-Peru Lady Cavaliers this week, with Rochelle falling in both contests by respective scores of 18-1 and 19-0.
Several girls recorded hits against Sycamore on Tuesday including Kaytlin Neale, who started the game on the mound for Rochelle. Abby Reish, Molly Irving and Hannah Luxton also reached base on a hit in the game.
Reish extended her hitting streak to two games against LaSalle-Peru on Wednesday, with Isabelle Marsh also notching a base knock. The freshman team moves to 0-2 on the season.
