ROCHELLE — George Hall III, 81, passed away Jan. 21. He was born June 17, 1940 in San Antonio Texas to George and Lena (Sommer-Felt) Hall.
He was married to Patricia G. Hall and worked at Del Monte Farms, at the Rochelle Steam Plant and was an electrician.
George was a Catholic. He was a huge Green Bay Packers fan and liked to keep busy. He lived hanging out with family and friends and was very active. He enjoyed gambling. He’s very-well missed.
George is survived by his children: Doug (Krista) Hall of Byron, Denise Hall of Rochelle, Debra Hall of Rochelle and Deanna (Bud Burgett) Hall of Rochelle; grandchildren: Justin (Jessica) Hall of Cincinnati, Ohio, Andrew (Heather) Machuea of Carol Stream, Geraldo and Austin Molina of Poplar Grove, Amand (Atticus) Jaramillo of North Carolina; sister Dorothy Gall of Wisconsin; brother-in-law Frank Burie of Florida and many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Alfred Hall, sister Lena Burie, wife Patricia and daughter Dawn Hall.
A visitation was held Jan. 27 and burial was at St. Patrick Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
