Students attending Vacation Bible School at Faith Lutheran Church served up cold fun Wednesday morning. The students hosted a drive-thru lemonade stand with the proceeds going to the Rochelle CROP Hunger Walk. The annual walk benefits the Rochelle Food Pantry, The Kitchen Table and The Church World Service. The goal was for the lemonade stand to raise $120, which the students met within the first hour of the morning. As a reward for raising money and exceeding their goal, students will have the opportunity to dunk director of youth ministry, Michelle Heinrich, in a dunk tank during the VBS wrap-up party.
