Rochelle — The Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival will again feature carnival rides, food court, beer garden, arts, crafts, and vendor booths, live music, a parade, car show and kids zone. Workers have been putting up rides this week downtown in preparation for the festival Aug. 17 - 19. Mega wristband can be purchased in advance for $50, which covers all three days of carnival rides — Aug. 17, 18 and 19. Daily passes are also available. Wristbands can be purchased in advance at Quinn’s, Colonial Flowers, Rochelle City Hall, Rochelle Municipal Utilities and Ray’s New and Used Furniture until 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17.
