ROCHELLE — Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois will host “Unleash Strong” next week — girls and their parents will have the opportunity to learn more about Girl Scouts and join the best leadership organization for girls.
The event will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29 at Cooper Park, located at Tenth Avenue in Rochelle, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Girls will explore hands-on STEM activities such as making their own rocket blasters and galaxy slime while getting a sneak peek at the science behind the fun. New girls who register on the night of Aug. 29 will also receive a free fun patch.
