Stillman Valley – Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois’ Southern Ogle Service Unit, representing Girl Scouts in Chana, Creston, Esmond, Hillcrest, Kings, Lindenwood, Mt. Morris, Oregon, Rochelle and Stratford, will host a ceremony presenting Girl Scout awards to local Girl Scouts on Sunday, June 3, 1 p.m., at Camp McCormick, 9995 N. Girl Scout Road, in Stillman Valley.
The event will include a Bridging Ceremony where Girl Scouts at each level will walk across the Camp McCormick Bridge to the next level of Girl Scouting. Girl Scout leadership will also recognized with presentation of the Summit Award, earned by those Girl Scouts completing three Journeys in a single Girl Scout level.
