Vincent, McCullough shoot high series scores for Rochelle

MORRIS — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling team competed at the Charles Butterfield Invitational on Saturday, recording a 4,584 series total over six games. Sophomore Cassidy Vincent led the Lady Hubs (7-5, 5-3 Interstate 8) with a 1,063 individual series score, while freshman Kylie McCullough added a 1,014 series and junior Faith Adams rolled a 971 series.

Rochelle fired team scores of 850, 718 and 707 over its first three games of the tournament. Vincent rolled a 196 to lead the Lady Hubs in the first game, while McCullough and Adams each threw a 188. Vincent’s series-best 202 highlighted Rochelle’s effort in the second game, where McCullough chipped in a 168 and Adams bowled a 154. McCullough led the Lady Hubs with a 176 in the third game, where Adams notched a 166 and Vincent cooled off with a 140.

Rochelle concluded the tournament with team scores of 764, 742 and 803. Vincent fired a 193 in the fourth game, while Adams shot a 161 and junior Makenzie Liezert added a 148. Liezert’s series-best 166 and McCullough’s 156 were the high scores for Rochelle in the fifth game, whereas Vincent’s 201 and McCullough’s 182 capped off the Lady Hub effort during the sixth game. Liezert finished with a 809 series and junior Anahi Alanis totaled a 727 series.
