The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling team won its first match of the season Monday evening, defeating Morris 2,412-1,363 to open the season with a 1-0 record. Freshman Cassidy Vincent fired a team-high 590 series, while senior Alyssa Mickley rolled a 507 series.

MORRIS — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling team won its first match of the season Monday evening, defeating Morris 2,412-1,363 to open the season with a 1-0 record. Freshman Cassidy Vincent fired a team-high 590 series, while senior Alyssa Mickley rolled a 507 series.
Rochelle claimed the first game 831-383 behind a match-best 236 from Vincent and 157 from Mickley. The Lady Hubs won the second game 808-482, with Mickley firing 192 and Vincent adding 177. Rochelle completed the sweep with a 773-498 victory in the third game. Senior Anna Samo scored a 369 series and senior Carly Summers added a 343 series.
