ROCHELLE — The Rochelle varsity girls bowling team locked itself into a tight match against Streator on Thursday, with the Lady Hubs falling by a score of 2,386-2,010 to move to 0-9 overall.
Streator edged Rochelle 738-625 in the first game behind 174 from Abby Bedecker. Senior Autumn Headon led the Lady Hubs with 149, while freshman Alyssa Mickley added 134 and freshman Alyssa Schwanert totaled 131.
The Bulldogs won the second game 799-692 with Bedecker rolling 178 and Sierra Dellinger shooting 153. Mickley recorded 148 for Rochelle, with Headon totaling 133 and senior Aubrey Headon adding 121.
Streator completed the sweep with an 849-693 victory in the third game. Bedecker shot 172 for the Bulldogs, and Mickley bowled 154 to finish with a team-best 436 series. Autumn Headon rolled 143 for a 425 series.
