MACHESNEY PARK — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity tennis team tied for second place with Rockford Auburn in the Harlem Invitational this past weekend. Eight Rochelle players took the court on Saturday, with all eight players bringing home medals.
Both of Rochelle’s varsity singles players earned medals on Saturday. Senior Emma Hicks medaled in third place at No. 1 singles for the Lady Hubs, while senior Madison Ost medaled in second place at No. 2 singles.
All six of the Lady Hub varsity doubles players received medals for their performances on Saturday. Senior Ashley Knight and junior Abby Tarvestad medaled in second place at No. 3 doubles, while seniors Josie Lundquist and Megan Thompson medaled in third place at No. 2 doubles. Seniors Jordin Dickey and MeLisa Young medaled in third place at No. 1 doubles.
