OREGON — The Hubs varsity golf team earned its first triangular meet victory of the season on Wednesday, with senior Garrett Glosser shooting a 38 to help Rochelle (174) outscore both Oregon (192) and North Boone (214) at Silver Ridge Golf Course.
Senior Noah Griffith scored a 44 for the Hubs, while junior Hayden Jones (46) and freshman Megan Thiravong (46) rounded out Rochelle’s top four varsity scores on Wednesday. The Hubs junior varsity golf team also scored a triangular meet with, with sophomore Logan Ortega shooting a 50 to lead Rochelle’s junior varsity group.
The Hubs varsity golf team improves to 3-4 overall, while the junior varsity squad jumps to 3-3.
