Rochelle – Goldie Doretta (Eppler) Reinke, 96, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at the Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.  She was born Dec. 2, 1920 on the family farm in Ohiowa, Neb., the daughter of Henry and Louise (Domeier) Eppler.  
The family moved to a farm in Chana while she stayed in Nebraska until she graduated from High School in 1937.  She married John L. Reinke on Sept. 24, 1939 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Paynes Point.  
She became a member of the church and was active in the Rebekah Circle, served on the church council, taught Sunday School, and was also a member of the Pine Rock Garden Club.  Her hobbies included gardening, collecting salt and pepper shakers, cook books, plates, and reading.  
She is survived by two daughters, Lois Olson of Prosser, Wash., and Ruth (Vic) Wiley of Bloomington; daughter-in-law, Lou Reinke of Rochelle; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  
She was predeceased by her husband, John; son, David; parents; one great-granddaughter, Heather Fjetland; half brother, Willie Schroeder; brothers, Lawrence, Elmer, Clarence, Melvin, LeRoy and Reuben; and sisters, Leona and Melvina Eppler, Ruby Rager and Arlene Barr.  
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Paynes Point with the Rev. Andrew Kayes, pastor of the church, officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 19 from 4-6 p.m. at the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 110 S. Seventh St., Oregon.  Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.  
A memorial fund is established for the Serenity Hospice and Home or the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
