Ohlinger, Metzger lead Rochelle to fourth in large division

ROCK FALLS — The Rochelle Township High School varsity golf team took fourth in the large division and sixth overall with 334 in the Rocket Invitational at Rock River Golf & Pool on Saturday.

Senior Griffin Ohlinger won the individual title in the large division, shooting a 3-over-par 73 while freshman teammate Ian Metzger tied for second in the division with a 9-over-par 79. 

The Hubs (3-5, 0-1 Interstate 8) will travel for a conference meet with Ottawa and Sandwich on Wednesday at 4 p.m. Ohlinger is pictured above receiving his first-place medal on Saturday.
