DAVIS JUNCTION — Zach Oltmanns, a member of the Lynn-Scott-Rock Fire Department, recently took the time to apply for a community investment grant with the Canadian Pacific Railway Company. He applied for a grant to assist the fire district with the purchase of a Stryker power load system for one of the ambulances.
The grant was approved by Canadian Pacific in the amount of $5,000, which was applied to the purchase of a power load system. The power load system lifts the cot into the ambulance. This is much safer for the patient and reduces the possibility of injury to the ambulance crew.
