DEKALB — Please join the family of Robert (Bob) C. Hart in celebrating his 90th birthday at an open house on Saturday, Sept. 2 from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
The celebration will be held in the Vista Room at Oak Crest Retirement Center, 2944 Greenwood Acres Drive, DeKalb.  

Bob was born in DeKalb on Sept. 11, 1927.  Bob has been an active member of the community through more than 50 years of farming in DeKalb County.  Many know him best for his singing at farm bureau events, holiday celebrations, concerts, as well as multiple weddings and funerals.
He served our nation in the United States Army and was a board member for Malta schools. He was an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Rochelle and choir member for many years.   
Bob was married for 49 years to Geraldine (Dumoulin) Hart. He has five children, Susan, Brian (Crissy), Rob (Diane), David (Stephanie) and Jon.  He has seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
