Dear Editor,
Dear Santa,
Would you please bring me some new clothes this Christmas?
Love, a Rochelle child in need
This is the Christmas wish of more than 225 children who are referred to the Children’s Shopping Trip sponsored by the Rochelle Community Action Network. These children are referred by our local schools, churches and non-profit agencies because they need the most basic of clothing items. Children are taken shopping by a local community volunteers and treated to a party with Santa. Without the support of the Rochelle community, this event would not be possible. Together, we CAN!
