Glendale, Ariz. — Henry A. Truett, 77, formerly of Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in Glendale, Ariz. Henry was born on April 27, 1940 to Henry and Mary (Rose) Truett in Wynnburg, Tenn.
Henry was a machinist for many years before retiring in 2000. He married Laura Lee Webber on Sept. 1, 1984 in Rockford.
In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by three sisters, Thelma Hansel, Josephine Schappaul and Lucille Scott.
Henry is survived by his wife, Laura of Glendale, Ariz.; three children, Mistie Williams of Missouri, and Thomas and Henry Truett both of Florida; three stepsons, Thomas, Richard and Robert Snider; two sisters, Violet Molelander of Rockford, and June Evelyn Rose of Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren, Krystal, Laura Jo and Brett; four great-grandchildren, Sevanna, Aiden, Scarlet Rose and Savannah; many nieces and nephews; and Jack Lewis, Henry’s very special little friend.
The visitation will be held from 9 – 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. Sixth St., Rochelle. The funeral will follow at 10 a.m. with Rev. Dr. James Tilley officiating. Burial will be at Twin Grove Cemetery in Steward.
