ROCHELLE — Hester L. Reineck, 94, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 in Rochelle. Hester was born Oct. 12, 1922 to James F. and Orpha M. (Reser) Frye in Ava, Mo. She married Milton C. Reineck on Dec. 16, 1950 in Oregon. Hester worked for Caron International for 24 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband and son, Larry.
Hester is survived by two sons, Steven (Julie) Reineck and Craig (Jane) Reineck both of Rochelle; sister-in-law, Mona Reineck of Rochelle; a brother, Sam Frye of Ava, Mo.; her sister, Maxine Levan of Davenport, Iowa; nine granddaughters, Pam (Tim) Davis, Tina (Jeff) Davis, Lisa (Paul) Vargen, Mary (David) Helfrich, Angela (Dennis) Burkhart, Steph (Adam) Moore, Carly (Nick) Yianibas, Trisha (Christian) Rodeghero, Jaime (Ryan) Haedt; one grandson, Nick (Ann) Reineck; 18 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. Sixth Street, Rochelle. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Chaplain Judy Williams officiating. Burial will follow the service at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
