High school students showcase talent at 34th annual art show

ROCHELLE — At the 34th Annual RTHS Art Show Tuesday, May 16, judges said they found the
“talent was overwhelming and the quality of work is better than ever.”
Judging the works were Rochelle Elementary District #231 art teachers Bob Donovan and Nan Elson, Donovan’s student teacher Tim Roloff, and RTHS Library Media Center assistant Teresa Haggestad.
“We really appreciated them volunteering their time-a big thank you to all of them for making our show such a success,” RTHS art teacher John Dobbs said.
With the judging complete, the results are in. Ribbons were placed on the  winning artworks for the opening of the show. First place winners are on display in the winner’s circle in the school’s Commons area.
