On Feb. 13, Ogle County deputies were dispatched to a hit and run crash at the intersection of Rural and Roosevelt in Stillman Valley. After an investigation, Donnie Weeks, of Rockford, was arrested for driving while license revoked. Weeks was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Weeks was also cited for leaving the scene of a property damage crash, and failure to yield to oncoming traffic at a stop sign. There were no injuries resulting from the crash.
On Feb. 13, Jesse Gilreath, 21, of Rockford, was arrested for Driving while license suspended. Gilreath had a bond of $15,000/10 percent. Gilreath did not post bond and remained in Jail. Gilreath was scheduled to return to court on Feb. 14.
On Feb. 14 at approximately 2:30 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on I-39 at mile marker 108. After a short investigation, Quintella Morgan, 23, was arrested for no valid driver’s license. Morgan was also issued citations for no valid insurance and speeding. Morgan was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
On Feb. 14, Ogle County deputies conducted a traffic stop on I-39 in the area of mile maker 111. After an investigation, Justice Edwards, of Rochelle, was arrested for driving while license suspended. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Edwards was also cited for speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to properly restrain a child under the age of 8. In addition, Edwards was issued a civil citation for possession of cannabis under 10 grams.
