Holcomb Bank donates to community foundation

ROCHELLE — Holcomb Bank President Perry W. Byers presented Kim Montgomery, Rochelle Area Community Foundation Executive Director, and Stephanie Williams, RACF board member, with a donation on behalf of Holcomb Bank Thursday.
Former Holcomb Bank board member Leonard Carmichael aided in the startup of the Rochelle Area Community Foundation in 2005. With shared values, and continued service from the Carmichael family, supporting the RACF was an easy decision for the Holcomb Board. Commitment to community still resonates with Holcomb Bank.
“Holcomb Bank is proud to continue Leonard Carmichael’s dedication to the Rochelle Area Community Foundation,” said Byers said. “Without the Foundation, there are non-profits in the Rochelle community which would surely struggle – we’re happy to contribute to the monies raised by the Foundation.”

“I am pleased we have such a generous partner in Holcomb Bank to help us continue the good work Leonard started,” Montgomery said.
