ROCHELLE — Holcomb Bank is proud to support their community partners on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis with donations totaling $20,000.

In conjunction with the Federal Home Loan Bank COVID-19 Relief Grant Program, Holcomb Bank President/CEO Perry W. Byers presented checks to local fire departments, food pantries and Ogle County Habitat for Humanity.

“When we first heard about the grant opportunity, we knew it could make a difference in our local communities and applied as quickly as possible,” Byers said.

Organizations benefiting from this grant include the local fire departments of Byron, Flagg Center, Hillcrest, Lynn-Scott-Rock, Monroe Center, New Milford, Ogle-Lee, Rochelle and Stillman Valley; local food pantries including Bread of Life, People Helping People and Rochelle Christian; as well as Ogle County Habitat for Humanity.

Holcomb Bank is a member FDIC/Equal Housing Lender.
