ROCHELLE — After falling 14-4 to the Kaneland Knights on Tuesday, the Hubs freshman baseball team suffered another tough loss to the black and white on Thursday, going down by a score of 17-5 and dropping to 3-5 on the season.
Keegan Davis went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Rochelle, while Charlie Jandak and Seth Gould each went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Nick Albers doubled and scored one run, with Ethan Etes singling and scoring as well.
Gould started on the mound for the Hubs, throwing five and one-third innings and striking out four batters. Austin Greifenkamp and Gavin Ansteth finished the game in relief.
