LASALLE — Just days after finishing second in the Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference Meet at Senica’s Oak Ridge, Rochelle senior Noah Griffith returned to the course this past Saturday to lead the Hubs varsity golf team in the LaSalle-Peru Invitational.
Rochelle shot 352 to finish seventh out of 10 schools in the Class 2A Division, with Griffith placing seventh out of 108 golfers in the tournament with 76. Senior Garrett Glosser added 83 to help pace the Rochelle squad, while juniors Hayden Jones and Brady Shank added respective scores of 97 and 105.
Senior Tyler Nalley (96) and freshman Megan Thiravong (109) rounded out the Hubs varsity team on Saturday.
