MONROE CENTER — James Ottis Bobo “Bo” passed away Friday, Oct. 12 at Serenity Hospice and Home surrounded by family after a long illness.
He was born in 1944 in Parkin, Arkansas, the son of Catherine (Westmoreland) Bobo Walsh and Ottis Bobo. He married Barbara McNutt in Rochelle in 1962.
James worked many years in the construction industry and was the former owner of MC Tap.
He was a devoted husband to Barb; loving dad to Debbie (Leon) Webster of Monroe Center, Cheryl (Todd) Henert of Davis Junction, and Marsha (Bob) Chosnyk of Stillman Valley; loving papa to Zack and Corey Gazouski, Cole (Sandy) and Jake (Lexie Williams) Henert, and Jordan Chosnyk; brother of Brenda Hausmann of Rochelle; and beloved uncle to Christina Powell and Jack, and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
James is preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald, and one nephew.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St. in Rochelle. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle.
