ROCHELLE — James W. Donoho, 88, passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at Rochelle Rehab and Healthcare Center. Jim was born on Oct. 17, 1928 in Streator, the son of Clifford and Dorothy (McCord) Donoho.
He was united in marriage to Cora “Beverly” Cox on May 3, 1953 in Cairo. She preceded him in death on Sept. 15, 2005.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Irene Barker.
Jim served his country in Korea as a member of the U.S. Army.
Jim is survived by his siblings, Jack Donoho of Kings, Orval (Kathleen) Donoho of Kennesaw, Ga., Eunice Whitsell of Acworth, Ga., and Clifford “Ray” (Barbara) Donoho of Rogersville, Tenn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 6 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. Sixth St., Rochelle, with Pastor Dave Rogula officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Trinity Memory Gardens in Rochelle.
