ROCHELLE — Jason Boyd Russell, 41, passed away suddenly Thursday, Jan. 13 at his home in Rochelle. Jason was born on April 26, 1980 to James R. and Diana M. (Anderson) Russell in Rochelle.
Jason enjoyed playing the bass guitar in his band and fishing. He loved golfing, and was an avid Bears and especially Chicago Cubs fan.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Jim, in Jan. 2006; his mom, Diana, in Sept. 2018; his brother, Lonnie Russell and aunt, Shirley McMasters.
Jason is survived by his aunt, Janet McCarty of Malta, uncle, Dennis (Candace) Russell of Sikeston, Missouri; several cousins including Josh Clark; close friends, Adam Egland and Luis Lopez and his favorite four-legged companion, Lucy.
