ROCKFORD – Fehr Graham, a leading Midwest engineering and environmental firm, today announced that Matthew Johnson, P.E., S.E., and branch manager of the firm’s Champaign office, received the 2017 Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Association Young Alumnus Award.
The award has a long history of recognizing only the best and most outstanding alumni from the Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Department at Illinois. Johnson received the prestigious award at a dinner celebration on March 8 at the Chicago’s Union League Club. It is the largest and most distinctive event of the year for the CEE Alumni Association.
Johnson was also recognized in May 2016, as one of the 2016 Rising Stars in Civil Engineering by Civil + Structural Engineer magazine, a national publication dedicated to serving the needs of civil and structural engineering firms, in addition to state, city and county engineers.
