Lindenwood — Jordan Patrick Kingsbury, 72, passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Jordan was born June 19, 1947 in Rochelle, the son of Bernard R. and Mary Rita (Duffy) Kingsbury. He married Juana Villalobos Gonzalez on Dec. 15, 1972.
Jordan worked as a machinist, operating his own business. He enjoyed rebuilding tractors, tinkering, and wine making. His greatest passion was fishing and he even made his own lures.
Jordan is survived by his wife, Juana; children, Juana (Mike) Kulwicki, Cuca (Travis) Kingsbury, Cleto Kingsbury, Rita (Brian) Etscheid, Bernie (Becky) Kingsbury, and Michael (Christa) Kingsbury; grandchildren, Joe Kulwicki, Josh (Sarah) Kulwicki, Jordan Draves, Olivia Etscheid, Anna Etscheid, Blake Yancy, Alyssa Yancy, Ryan Kingsbury, and Collin Kingsbury; great-grandchildren, Maddison Kulwicki, Spencer Kulwicki, Eleanor Kulwicki, and Meredith Kulwicki; a brother, Mike Kingsbury; and two sisters, Nancy Henna and Joanna (Scott) Polzin.
In addition to his parents, Bernard and Rita Kingsbury, Jordan is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Hardy Henna.
Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St. in Rochelle, with Pastor Dave Rogula officitating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in White Rock Cemetery in Kings.
