ASHTON — Joseph Donald Bartoli, 67, of Ashton, passed away at his home on Sept. 11, 2018. He was born on Nov. 4, 1950 in Chicago, to Donald and Mary (Reid) Bartoli.
He served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Northern Illinois University and had a construction company.
Beloved husband of Mary (Ferrari) of Ashton, loving father of Janet (Andy) Wilken of Anacortes, Washington, Donald (Susi) Bartoli of Littleton, Colorado, and the late Michael (who passed away on Oct. 2, 1997). Loving grandfather of Sienna and Zander Wilken. Fond brother of Mary (Sam) Angona of Chicago, the late Donna (Jon) Freeman of Palos Heights, Thomas (Sheri) of Knox, Indiana, William of Chicago, and Robert (Cindy) of Chicago. Loving son-in-law of Betty L. and the late Max P. Ferrari of Rochelle and fond brother in-law of their children.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 16 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Beverage Lyons Family Funeral Home located at 704 N. Sixth St. Rochelle, and one hour prior to Mass at St. Patrick’s.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 17 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Monsignor Gerald Kobbeman officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Grove Cemetery in Ashton.
