ROCHELLE – Loyal Order of the Moose member, Chris Cox, came to Rochelle dressed as Uncle Sam for what would have been his 14th year participating in the annual Rochelle 4th of July Parade.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions set in place, the annual 4th of July parade did not occur this year. But that did not stop Cox from continuing on an annual tradition of coming to Rochelle dressed from head to toe in American Flag attire.
While there was no parade to participate in this year, the trip to Rochelle was not for nothing, as fellow Moose member, Don Schultz, celebrated his 78th birthday on the 4th of July as well.
