MALTA — Kishwaukee College Community Education is offering ACE Personal Fitness Trainer Certification Exam Preparation during the Fall 2019 semester.
The class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Aug. 27 through Dec. 17 from 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. in room A1267 on campus. The cost of the class is $600 including textbooks.
A personal fitness trainer is a fitness professional who has the knowledge, skills and abilities for safe and effective exercise. Personal fitness trainers design custom fitness programs that help their clients reach their personal health and fitness goals. Personal fitness trainers not only teach their clients the proper ways to exercise but they motivate them to live healthier lives.
This course will prepare participants to become effective personal fitness trainers. The course will also prepare participants to sit for the American Council on Exercise Personal Fitness Trainer certification exam.
ACE is a recognized industry leader in the fitness industry. ACE certification is highly regarded in the field of personal fitness training.
The instructor, Jenna Bacchi, is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer. Jenna has a bachelor’s in Kinesiology. In addition to managing her own personal fitness training business, Jenna is a certified ACE instructor and a 200-hour certified yoga instructor.
