Kishwaukee College Foundation announces local fall 2023 scholarship recipients

MALTA — The Kishwaukee College Foundation is pleased to announce the student scholarship recipients for the fall 2023 semester. The foundation awarded 207 scholarship awards totaling $167,133.
Scholarship funds are made possible through generous gifts from members of the community, local businesses and industry, and area agencies and associations. Students are selected on a competitive basis, according to each scholarship’s specific requirements.
Local Kishwaukee College students received the following awards:
Bud & Kay Stocking Rochelle Rotary Endowment — Emily Garcia of Rochelle.
Charles & Mary Roberts Memorial Endowment for Nursing — Kendal Ansteth of Rochelle.
Dean & Betty Burgemeister Endowment — Marili Cervantes of Rochelle, Sarah Snow of Rochelle.
Diane McNeilly Education Endowment — Nayeli Ramirez of Rochelle.
Howard & Martha Mullins Memorial Endowment for Nursing — Cheryl Bialas of Rochelle.
Kishwaukee College Employee Give Scholarship — Grace Barnes of Rochelle.
LaVerne "Dutch" Johnson Memorial Fund — Emma Hilleson of Lee, Hannah Seaworth of Lindenwood, Jessica Van Etten of Esmond.
Law Enforcement Lifelong Learning Scholarship — Damen Harrington of Rochelle.
Pat Humo Nursing Scholarship — Johnathan Nguyen of Rochelle.
Ruth I. Hall Nursing Endowment — Michele Lidren of Rochelle, Carly Summers of Esmond, Carly Summers of Esmond.
Tom & Nancy Roberts Theatre Endowment —Jessica Van Etten of Esmond, Asher Wiegartz of Rochelle.
