MALTA — The Kishwaukee College Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition of works by members of the Kishwaukee Valley Art League (KVAL), titled Art: Inspire. Explore. Create., from March 26 – April 19.
Gallery hours for the Spring semester are Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. There will be an Artists’ Reception on April 11 from 2 – 6 p.m. in the Gallery. The Kishwaukee College Art Gallery and the Artists’ Reception are both free and open to the public.
Art: Inspire. Explore. Create. will include 94 works by 26 KVAL artists. The show includes works created in a variety of media. Several of the artists will be at the Artists’ Reception to demonstrate their artistic and craft skills in fabric art, gourd art, watercolor painting, wood burning, colored pencil drawing, woodcarving, acrylic painting, robotic art and up cycling.
