ROCHELLE — Agatha Knaak celebrated her 101st birthday on Thursday at Liberty Village in Rochelle.
Family and friends joined her for a celebration. Happy birthday was sung three times and a sign was put up in the common area. Knaak called the response and celebration “overwhelming.”
"Just to take life as it comes,” Knaak said when asked what she’s learned in 101 years. “Keep the Lord in your mind all the time and he'll make things work out alright for you, whatever it is.
