ROCHELLE — The Lady Hubs freshman softball team squeaked by Stillman Valley in a thriller Friday afternoon, winning by a score of 16-15 to improve to 3-5 on the season.
Ally Reish struck out 10 batters on the mound while notching two hits and one RBI at the plate. Hannah Luxton totaled three hits and one RBI in the win, with Viviana Belmonte earning two RBIs plus the game-winning hit for the Lady Hubs.
Maggie Williams and RuthAnne Gardner each recorded one hit, with Williams getting and RBI.
