ROCHELLE — Coming off a close game against the Morris Redskins on Tuesday, the Lady Hubs sophomore softball team returned to the diamond on Thursday for a conference showdown with the Ottawa Lady Pirates, with Rochelle falling by a final score of 15-1.
Mandi Lamb recorded two hits in the game for the Lady Hubs, while Maddi O’Rorke went 1-for-2 with a walk and Emilee Dueringer went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Freshman Hannah Luxton notched a hit and a stolen base.
The sophomores will try for their first win when they face LaSalle-Peru on Tuesday.
