STREATOR — The Lady Hubs varsity softball team faced off against the Streator Bulldogs on Thursday in a battle of winless teams, with the Rochelle girls falling by a final score of 11-0 to drop to 0-5 on the season.
Junior Macy Luxton and senior Faith Roush each recorded one hit for the Lady Hubs, who totaled just two hits in the loss. Senior Jessie Meyers took the mound for Rochelle. The girls will try to bounce back at Belvidere this weekend.
Rochelle’s sophomore softball team also played on Thursday, losing to Streator by a score of 7-0. Alexis Czaplinski, Abby Reish and Molly Irving each had one hit for the Lady Hubs.
