The Illinois Moose Association, consisting of over 80 Moose Lodges and now 60 chapters, chooses Dave Schwitters of Rochelle Lodge 903 as their annual Legionnaire of the year. Presenting Schwitters with the award is Lodge Prelate Mike Wilson. The Moose Legion has represented the Second Degree of the Fraternity since 1913. This is the first time that the local lodge has been honored. Schwitters was cited for his years of work with the adopt-a-highway program, membership retention, helping serve meals and helping with local Moose Legion events and fundraisers. He also served as lodge trusteee and treasurer.
