ROCHELLE –– “Let’s go girls! Come On. I’m going out tonight, I’m feelin’ alright,” sang Shania Twain.
Girls, grab your friends and get ready for a night out. Rochelle Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual Ladies Night Out at Salt 251 on Thursday, Nov. 30.
The free event is open to all ladies 21 and older. The first 50 women at the event will receive a free tote bag courtesy of Central Bank filled with items from chamber members.
“We encourage ladies to grab their friends and join us for a great casual night out,” stated Tricia Herrera, Rochelle Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors President. “Come on out and shop with our vendors. Check some people off your Christmas list or maybe pick something up for yourself.”

Free champagne will be served along with a cash bar available. Champagne and appetizers will only be available for the first hour of the event. Giveaways from chamber members will be raffled throughout the evening. The Coyote 102.3 will be giving two tickers to see Blake Shelton with Brett Eldredge, Trace Adkins and Carly Pearce on Feb. 23 at the Taxslayer Center in Moline.
“Each year the chamber hosts ladies’ night as a fun event to showcase some of our home-based businesses and while pampering the attendees. It is just one of the events that the chamber hosts throughout the year,” added Herrera.
Last year more than 150 area ladies attended the event for an evening of shopping and socialization.
The event will feature a variety of homemade and home sale businesses providing ladies an opportunity to shop local during the holiday season.  Along with shopping, Wills Chiropractic will give chair massages and vendors will present demonstrations.
The ladies night out will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Vendors include Christmas crafts, Thirty-One, Perfectly Posh, Pink Zebra, LulaRoe, and many more.
Herrera added, “thanks to Kris Wexell and Jay Burlison from The Coyote and Good Time Oldies for being our emcees for the night. We know they will keep it fun and entertaining for the ladies.”
The evening out is sponsored by Rochelle Community Hospital-Champagne Sponsor, Wills Chiropractic– Rose’ Sponsor, Holcomb State Bank- Rose’ Sponsor, and Central Bank Illinois-Rose’ Sponsor.
