ROCHELLE — The Flagg-Rochelle Public Library, 619 Fourth Ave., is hosting a blood drive on Monday, Aug. 6.
Staff from the Rock River Valley Blood Center will be there to draw blood from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The drive will be held inside, lower level of the library.

Drop-ins are welcome, but you may schedule an appointment by contacting Connie Avery at the library at 815-562-3431.
RRVBC needs to collect approximately 1,000 units each week to meet area patient needs.
Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in good general health, you should be eligible to donate blood.
One in three people will need blood and you never know when you or someone you love might be the one. Join us in sharing the Gift of Life.
