Electrical crews are on the scene at the intersection of Illinois Route 38 and Dement Road to fix the traffic control light near the Petro Travel Plaza.
The pole was struck by a vehicle this morning.
Roads and parking lots ice-covered due to rains and quickly dropping temperatures this morning.
A semi was rolled over onto its side on the roadway on the overpass blocking the overpass to Illinois Route 38 over Interstate 39 this morning as well.
Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling on the roadways.
